Además de competiciones, se llevan a cabo una serie de actividades para los visitantes, como clases de esquí, visitas guiadas y actos culturales, e incluso pueden probar suerte en la disciplina de salto de esquí en un salto más pequeño, diseñado especialmente para principiantes.
La carrera Birkebeinerrennet
Se trata de una competición de esquí de fondo que se celebra en marzo entre las localidades de Rena y Lillehammer y más de 15 000 participantes recorren cada año 54 kilómetros en ella.
La carrera Birkebeinerrennet se disputa en un ambiente lleno de emoción, con miles de espectadores animando a los esquiadores a lo largo del recorrido. Esta competición es una verdadera prueba de determinación, perseverancia y resistencia, y quienes la completan se sienten dominados por una increíble sensación de superación personal.
Durante los meses de verano, también se organiza una carrera a pie y una carrera en bicicleta.
Ekstremsportveko
Ekstremsportveko, también conocida como la semana de los deportes extremos, es un evento anual que se celebra en Voss y es uno de los festivales de deportes extremos más grandes y reconocidos del mundo. Ekstremsportveko reúne a atletas, aficionados y espectadores de diferentes rincones del mundo para participar y presenciar una cantidad de emocionantes actividades.
Se celebra a finales de junio y podrás participar o simplemente ver deportes como parapente, longboard, descenso de ríos, escalada, salto base y mucho más.
Midnight Sun Marathon
La Midnight Sun Marathon (La maratón del sol de medianoche) es una carrera que tiene lugar todos los años en Tromsø, ciudad situada en el extremo norte de Noruega. Se considera una de las maratones más singulares y pintorescas del mundo por dos razones: la belleza del entorno y el momento en que se realiza.
Se celebra a finales de junio, cuando el sol ya no se pone en Tromsø y ofrece una luz mágica durante toda la noche. El evento presenta diferentes modalidades como una maratón completa, una media maratón, una carrera de 10 kilómetros y una carrera infantil.
Norway Cup
Norway Cup (La Copa de Noruega) es un torneo internacional de fútbol juvenil que se celebra cada año en Oslo. Arctic Race of Norway

La etapa en bicicleta se desarrolla por 180 kilómetros de un terreno exigente, incluida una subida a la famosa «colina zombi», un ascenso empinado de 10 kilómetros con pendientes de hasta el diez por ciento. La etapa final de la carrera consiste en una maratón, con la línea de meta situada en la cima del monte Gaustatoppen, a 1850 metros sobre el nivel del mar.

La maratón atrae a participantes de todo tipo, desde corredores de élite que buscan mejorar su marca hasta maratonianos noveles que vienen a completar la carrera por primera vez. El evento está abierto a participantes de todas las capacidades y edades y el ambiente inclusivo es, sin duda, un elemento clave de su atractivo.

Come and join informal and social poker tournaments at Work-Work, with a real beer-on-the-table atmosphere! Every Wednesday we throw a poker tablecloth over the bar tables and set up for an atmospheric competition in No Limit Holdem. The tournament lasts about 6 hours (for those who come the furthest). It is completely free to participate, and the tournament is suitable for both beginners and more experienced players who just want to have a little fun. REGISTRATION : We are aiming for 80 players, but we will take in a few more registered players in case of absence. The first 80 registered players to show up at the venue are guaranteed a place in the tournament from the start, but everyone who has registered will be allowed to play as the first players drop out. The Clown Run is held every September, with all proceeds going to the Hospital Clowns. In 2026, the Clown Run will be held for the 15th time, join us! The Hospital Clowns work to ensure that children admitted to hospital have a daily life filled with humor, dreams and imagination. At St. Olavs Hospital, the Hospital Clowns are an important bright spot in an otherwise gray hospital day, but they need financial support to continue their work. That's why we students want to give something back to the city that we love, by helping the clowns stay in Trondheim. There will be opportunities to participate in: Children's races (1km), 5km and 10km. The children's race has an upper age limit of 12 years, but if your child wants to participate in the 5km race, we can accommodate that too. You can choose to register either with or without timing. Welcome to the Norwegian Cancer Society's Relay for Life Trondheim, August 29 - 30, 2026 at the Finale Course at St. Olav's Hospital 💜 The Norwegian Cancer Society's Relay for Life is about supporting those affected by cancer in the local community. The guests of honor during the relay are the fighters, those who have or have had cancer themselves. You can participate by fielding a team, as a volunteer, as a fighter, or by contributing in other ways! What happens within 24 hours? The relay lasts for a full 24 hours to symbolize the struggle cancer patients are in, and that there should always be someone on the field for them. Families, friends, schools, associations and workplaces form teams and participate by having at least one team member on the field throughout the 24 hours. Behind every team there is often a story, a person that the team wants to support, remember or celebrate. Entertainment and lighting ceremony: Along the way, there will be entertainment and an atmospheric lighting ceremony. Here we will light candles in paper bags with personal greetings to remember those who have passed away, and to give strength to those who continue to fight. Who can participate? Relay for Life is organized by volunteers and is the Norwegian version of the American Relay For Life. It is free to participate, and everyone is welcome! Money is raised for the cancer cause through the sale of light bags and the teams' own digital fundraising. What does it mean to field a team? As a participant on a team, you support the cancer cause and create a meaningful experience with friends and colleagues. You can form teams regardless of whether you know someone who is affected or not. Each participant decides for themselves whether they want to run, walk, push a stroller or use a wheelchair/roller. The most important thing is the community! What does it mean to be a fighter? If you have, or have had cancer, you can participate as a fighter. The fighters are our guests of honor and are invited to a very special program with entertainment and a three-course dinner. You also open the relay by walking the very first lap together. Davis Cup to Trondheim Norway is ready for Davis Cup matches on home soil. On September 18th and 19th, Casper Ruud and the Norwegian team will take on Trondheim Spektrum when the opponent is China in World Group 1.
