Forbord Dome is an exclusive glamping experience for two people in the heart of nature. You can sleep under the stars, enjoy the panoramic view over the Trondheimsfjorden, catch a magical sunset or see the fantastic northern lights if you're lucky. The dome is a full 23 square meters with a window in the roof and in the front and it is placed on a terrace on two levels with a seating area and fire pit. There are many great hiking opportunities in the area, how about a trip to the top of Forbordsfjellet? The dome is centrally located approx. 10 minutes from Trondheim Airport Værnes in Stjørdal and approx. 40 min. from Trondheim. The dome is placed by itself in the hillside up towards Forbordsfjellet, approx. 300 m.a.s.l and is open all year around. There are two parking options and the distance from parking to the dome is from 600-1500 meters depending on parking/route. You walk on a forest road from the car park to get all the way to the dome. In the dome there is a king-size double bed and a seating area for two people. There is plenty of heat in the dome (wood stove/diesel heater), but we recommend bringing warm clothes on cold days. You don't have to leave the dome to go to the bathroom, it has a separate room with a toilet. You are welcome to bring a dog or other pets, but due to allergies, these cannot be inside the dome. We do have a great dog house outside though. There is 10 liters of drinking water in the dome on arrival, otherwise little access to clean drinking water. You also have access to a primus and two saucepans for easy cooking. Remember that the primus must be used outdoors. There is also a grill grate for the brazier that can be used for grilling. Free access to tea and coffee.

Here you can spend the night in a sleeping carriage from the 1960s, in the middle of Namsen. This is a carriage that Gunde Svan once bought from Norway and we have bought back. Here you will find 10 compartments with 2 beds in each overlooking the river. Good mattresses in each bed. In each couch there is a washbasin with hot and cold water. The rooms are kept virtually identical to when the wagon was in operation. The sleeping carriage and the sanitary carriage are separated from the other cars by a distance of about 20 meters where there is a large seating area. This is reserved for overnight guests. Here you can enjoy the silence and calm with something good in the glass. In connection with the sleeping carriage there is a sanitary carriage with toilets, showers and a small drying room.

In the fall, the restaurant opens on weekends, and during the autumn school holiday, it is usually open every day. The restaurant is suitable for everyone, regardless of age, as it is accessible to wheelchair users and families with strollers, despite being on a mountaintop. The gondolas are designed to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, and bikes, and inside the restaurant, you will find both a handicap-accessible restroom and a changing table for babies. THEA GRANT + UNIAH WITH STRANGEROUS AS SUPPORT AT GOOD OMENS, 24 OCTOBER! Thea Grant The enigmatic singer and producer Thea Grant is in her new era of heart wrenching, abstract composition. Operatic emotions pour into evocative sound design, fusing her passion for electronic music and 20th century romantic classical music with her adventurous pop sensibilities. Last year she toured as an opener for Jenny Hval and is currently working on her next album. In October she will be going on a UK tour together with Reality as well as playing a string of concerts in Norway. Uniah With the project Uniah, Una Aurora Venås explores an intense fascination with dreams. Voices, harp landscapes, noise textures, scenography, video art and drawing are some of what meet in her expression. Over several years of dream work, Uniah has let herself be inspired by "lucid dreams", sleep paralysis, hypnagogic hallucinations, dream memories, surrealistic wonderings and thoughts about reality and unreality. Over the past couple of years, Uniah has done a number of concerts/performances in the country, and her two self-made music videos "Becoming a Ghost Film" and "Hallucia Film" were both selected for Grimstad Short Film Festival (2025 and 2026). Following the release of the EP "Embody Nobody", as well as the new single "Hallucia", she was written about in GAFFA Newcomer and in Ballade: "Uniah is in the process of building out an increasingly distinctive and dreamlike universe, both as a musical and visual artist." (Arvid Skancke-Knutsen, Ballade video, 21.11.25) "Uniah blows a fresh, frozen breeze through the experimental, contemporary and electronica scene here in the country." (Newcomer editorial in GAFFA 12.01.26.) Support: Strangerous Strangerous explores the borderland between noise, dark ambient, contemporary music and everything else that breaks with conventional genre conventions. She has released three albums, and has played a number of concerts, including at this year's Peace Festival at Verkstedhallen, Nødutgang Festival and Inferno Festival. With an improvised expression based on processing of sounds from field recordings, she creates a soundscape that takes in both the uncomfortable and the beautiful. The audience can get ready for a full evening filled to the brim with strangled wind instruments and broken guitar tones in a danceable format. Over two hours of live music are guaranteed, at the crossroads of scorched rock and boiled jazz, and the mutated rock monster DOGFØKKSUPERMODE. SUPERFØKK is a brash new rap project that diverges in inexplicable angles. With one foot in many camps, they aim to break down established genre conventions and create a sound that is uniquely theirs. With inspiration from kraut, jazz, punk, dance music and no-wave, you can expect a show packed with eclectic expressions. The project was founded in a small dark studio at Bergen Kjøtt in the fall of 2024, and has managed to create a rock-solid repertoire and win first place at the Eggstock Festival 2025. Dogmode is a Bergen-based band that musically falls somewhere between 60s-70s psychedelic rock, blues and free jazz. With free rock, heavy riffs, wind melodies and power jazz, a mix of electric and acoustic instruments creates a wall of noise and total chaos, but still with steady riffs and rhythms. With a focus on improvisation and soundscapes, they take the audience on a musical journey from start to finish. Together, this will be a concert experience that blends the guitar sound of rock and psychedelics with free jazz and improvised soundscapes. Dogmode creates a recognizable, but also electric and raw expression based on original compositions, and in the spring of 2026 they will release their debut album.
