      Desde Oslo puedes llegar a Bergen por carretera atravesando la meseta de montaña de Hardangervidda, las montañas de Hemsedal (Hemsedalsfjellet) o la localidad de Haukeli (entre siete y ocho horas y media de viaje).

      Si viajas desde el sur o desde el norte, puedes conducir a lo largo de la costa y cruzar los fiordos en ferry o por medio de algún puente. Ten en cuenta que en verano son frecuentes las largas colas para embarcar en el ferry: suele merecer la pena madrugar.
